Chelsea Woodworth is a Legal Paraprofessional (LP) licensed to practice Family Law and Limited Jurisdiction Law.
Chelsea was one of the first licensed LPs in Arizona and was the very first LP to obtain a dual license.
An LP is an affiliate member of the Arizona State Bar who possesses specific education and experience to provide legal services in limited areas.
Chelsea graduated on the Dean's List from Buffalo State University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. After graduation, she worked as a Crime Victim Advocate, an Undercover Private Investigator, and for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
After almost seven (7) years working for DHS, Chelsea desired a career change into the legal field. In 2013 Chelsea graduated on the President's List with a 4.0 overall GPA from Phoenix College with her Certificate in Paralegal Studies. She began working in the legal field immediately afterward.
Shortly after obtaining her Paralegal Certificate, Chelsea earned the title of Certified Paralegal (CP) from NALA, the Paralegal Association. In 2016, Chelsea earned the title of Advanced Certified Paralegal (ACP) from NALA.
In 2022, Chelsea was appointed by the Chief Justice of the Arizona Supreme Court to serve as a member of the Board of Nonlawyers Legal Service Providers. The Board is responsible for making decisions regarding code changes, certification, and disciplinary matters involving Arizona Legal Document Preparers and Legal Paraprofessionals.
While Chelsea is only licensed to practice family law and limited jurisdiction civil law, Chelsea has over 10 years of experience in civil law, including extensive work in personal injury law. If you are an attorney who is looking for contract paralegal support, feel free to reach out!
